The FLIR E96 is the first handheld (pistol-grip) thermal imager to feature a 640 × 480 high-resolution infrared detector, designed for safe and efficient inspection of high-voltage equipment as well as mechanical and electrical fault diagnostics.

Equipped with AutoCal™ interchangeable lenses, the E96 provides exceptional flexibility for both close-range and long-distance inspections. In addition, the integrated laser distance measurement ensures precise focusing, improving overall temperature measurement accuracy.

A single lens offers both 24° wide-angle and 14° telephoto views. Switch instantly with one button—reducing the time and risk associated with changing lenses.

The FLIR E96 features built-in FLIR Inspection Route mode, allowing users to follow predefined inspection tasks with clear, step-by-step guidance. It automatically captures and organizes images and measurement data for each inspection point.

The integrated microphone enables voice annotations, making it easier to document findings and generate comprehensive inspection reports.

As part of the new-generation Exx Series, the FLIR E96 comes standard with FLIR Inspection Route mode, enabling digital and automated inspection workflows—ideal for managing and maintaining multi-point equipment systems.

🧭 With optional FLIR Thermal Studio Pro software and the Route Creator plugin, users can predefine inspection checklists and sequences, upload them to the camera for guided execution, or export them as printable inspection forms
